The Los Angeles County Supervisory Board recently held a controversial four-hour meeting to decide how to draw lines for the election supervisors throughout last decade. The Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund has issued an alert urging action redistricting supporters to let the supervisors know they are on the "to violate the Voting Rights Act by failing to create a new neighborhood Latin. " (Sic).
