Cool evenings, barbecue, concerts, camping and relaxing by the pool.

And remember the first smell of cut grass and the soothing sound of crickets who assisted in getting you to sleep?

But all this is over now my friend! School is back and you are served up to 9 months with papers and projects and performance evaluations!

Now ... do you feel better to have this hard reality in the open?

And I can feel your pain ... I am a teacher, and while I can not do the homework assigned, I rank - and believe me, I prefer it to be done.Bible teachers as I toil long hours instructing students about the greatest book ever written, and we get answers, as these tests:

As Facebook Yep, many times there is an obvious breakdown in communication between teacher and student, but now that school is back in session, let me be clear about the purpose of Jesus in your school and other students:

Jesus traveled through all the towns and villages in the area, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the Good News of the Kingdom. And he healed every sickness and disease.When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. He told his disciples: "The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest, ask him to send more workers into his fields "(Matthew 9:35-38).

This is a perfect picture of what Jesus sees when he looks at all the hundreds or thousands of students going to classes, breaking for lunch and headed for the practice or at home every day after the bell rings:

He has "compassion" on them-

In the original language of the Bible, the word "compassion" literally means "spill your guts." In other words, his heart breaks and he is sick to his stomach when he sees your campus.

Why?

Because, like people of his time, your friends are "confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd."

The eyes of our Savior to go beyond labels outside the state of the soul. When we come to school, we look at the clothes, car, friends, and the expressions on their faces. But the light of Christ breaks through the facade and goes directly into the reality of how a person feels. In his time, people confused about who God is and how they could be forgiven. They were powerless religious leaders highlight of the day which leads them astray into thinking that they should win the love of God.
