Poojary performs urulu seve for Sonia's speedy recovery

Sonia is recuperating after a surgery at Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre in New York. Poojary, 75, who was a key member in the Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi cabinets, performed urulu seve along with 16 other Congress workers for the UPA chief’s  speedy recovery. Besides, belli ratha bali pooje, a special pooja in the temple and mrityunjaya homa were also offered by Poojary at the temple. Sri C.N.Ramaswamyshastry is my maternal uncle. He comes from an Advocates family. His father Sri C.N.Shastry, Advocate started his carear in the chambers of Sri Motilal Nehru, father of the first Prime Minister Sri Javaharlal Nehru in Allahabad. It was my good fortune that I started my practice under him in 1964.My uncle was the guiding post for all the lawyers of Bangalore. He kept himself uptodate on law and spent minimum one hour every day in Law Library till about a month ago. I sincerely pray "May his great soul rest in peace and may He guide us evermore."

Although, justice delayed is justice denied. There are all possibilities that MNYL will go to state forum and than national forum. This is very common with private insurer to deny the legitimate claim. Only a few of such claims are being referred to CDRF / court of law and again a few of them reaches to the level of payment. Rest of the claim as non payment is profit to the company. Ahmedabad Mirror has done excellent job by bringing in light the attitude of MNYL. They should also refer it IRDA and hold MNYL to go for any further litigation and pay the amount ordered by the forum without further delay to Mrs. Geeta Parmar

First of all, the hijab is not a Muslim custom at all ! It is a tradition in Arabia suited to save themselves from their desert storm environments. Nowhere in Quran it says to wear burkhas. It was a requirement there for survival. Out of ignorance, some people mistake it and project it as a religious custom, which should be discouraged.
